At Covenant of Courage and JLBC Cadet Corps, we believe the future of leadership lies in building bridges — not walls — between generations of veterans, cadets, community leaders, and youth.

Each generation brings a unique skill set, perspective, and leadership style:

Veterans and Elders bring hard-earned wisdom, resilience, discipline, and institutional memory.

Millennials and Gen X offer creativity, technology fluency, and organizational adaptability.

Gen Z and Gen Alpha bring energy, global awareness, and digital-native insights.


Rather than compete or dismiss one another, we must honor the past, activate the present, and empower the future—together.

At Covenant of Courage and JLBC, our programs are designed to connect the dots between generations through:

Veterans and older professionals mentor cadets and teen leaders, passing down both tactical knowledge and life lessons. In return, young leaders offer feedback, energy, and new tools.

Our workshops and drills are not just about physical readiness — they’re about mutual respect and purpose alignment across generations, training side by side with shared goals.


3. Service & Advocacy


From petitioning Congress for better discharge policies to serving local communities, we empower all ages to fight for justice and purpose — shoulder to shoulder.


4. Legacy Leadership Projects


Cadets document stories from veterans and create community initiatives that preserve tradition while addressing modern challenges.

• A 16-year-old cadet leads a food drive — but it’s a WWII veteran who trains them to lead with humility.

• A 21-year-old JLBC alumni returns to train new recruits — but seeks advice from a Vietnam-era mentor.
