Is it possible to lose fat, build muscle and get jacked training at home with little equipment?

I love when people reach out to me for help, whether you’re interested in hiring me to coach you or not.

Friend, I do what I do because I love fitness, I’m good at it, and I love helping people with it.

But here’s one of my biggest pet peeves.

When someone reaches out and says this:

“Hey, I want to lose fat and build muscle, but I’m having a hard time. Can you help?”

And then I reply:

“Yes, I’d love to! Friend, How long have you been going to the gym now?”

Then they say:

“Oh, I don’t go to the gym; I want to do it working at home. I have a couple of dumbbells and some bands.”

Then I go and jump off my 31st-floor balcony.

Training at home CAN work.

But if you don’t have:

  • Dumbbells that go up to at least 50 pounds (adjustable are okay)

  • A barbell and weights for it that goes up to at least 225

  • An adjustable bench

  • A squat rack

  • Something to do pull-ups on

Then sorry to say, but it’s doubtful it will happen.

You either need to invest in the equipment or go to the gym.

But because to transform your physique, YOU need to CHANGE.

I understand that you might feel uncomfortable going to the gym.

But getting outside your comfort zone is MANDATORY if you want to change.

The part of you trying to avoid the discomfort of going to the gym is the part that needs to die.

So I’m not saying it’s impossible to get in fantastic shape, training at home with minimal equipment.

But the problem is, you’re trying to avoid discomfort.

Going to the gym is the first step outside your comfort zone of many that are going to be required to get the results you want.

Especially if you want those results to be permanent.

So if you’re stuck right now and want to lose fat, build muscle and transform your body, here’s my best advice.

Go to the gym, get a membership and start going regularly.

Before you do that, there’s nothing else for you to do.
