Most men fail because they need to put in the work consistently.

Most men fail because they need to put in the work consistently. Wanting to succeed is not enough. More than having potential is required.

Potential is only well-spent if there is a lack of consistency. Consistency is what will take you to the next level.

My friend, here are Four ways to definitely stay on top of your game consistently.

1- If you don't control your mind, it will prevent you.

The mind's primal need is survival, not fulfillment. Your mind is always trying to avoid pain. It's trying to survive, not succeed. Your mind wants to play small, and it wants to do enough not to get killed.

There has to be a commitment from inside you to have more than "just enough." You want to create an impact, so you have to override your mind to take a risk. Motivation and drive are not the same things. Anybody can be motivated for one day. But to have drive takes consistency. When you use mindset as a tool, you may motivate yourself and the people around you. It's a choice to tap into the greatness inside you.

2- It all comes down to energy.

Energy is everything. You will lack integrity if your intention does not align with your actions. If your choices are to serve, but your efforts are selfish, you won't get what you want. People remember how you made them feel, not what you said. Your energy is contagious, and it can propel or destroy your vision.

3- Fall in love with the process

You will be miserable if you wait until you win the game to celebrate. If you're waiting for "one day," you'll always put off celebrating.

When you realize that you have set the rules of the game you want to play, you will begin to love the game. You play by your own rules. Every day is a chance to become the MVP of your game. Stop waiting for other people to praise you. You set the rules. You keep the score. You don't always win, but you know you're making progress.

4- You can have excuses or results.

If you want results, you can't make excuses. If you focus on reasons, you're only going to get more excuses; if you focus on results, you'll get more and better results. Don't let your excuses get in the way of your vision. The reason most people are inconsistent is that they always find excuses.

Turn your excuses into reasons to stay on top of your game. Fuck excuses. Focus on the big picture.

You have to break the pattern of buying into your excuses every day. You're not going to win the game every day. But the more you show up, the better you get. Life rewards men who are consistently showing up no matter what. Leaders show up even when they don't feel like it. Staying on top will require you to let go of what you feel like doing and do what is needed.

History will always remember those who play the game, never those who quit. Average men are looking to be out of the game. They want to be spectators and critics. You are crazy enough to be in the arena. You're playing the game of leadership.
