There's one piece of mainstream business wisdom that I hate hearing:
"Burn the ships."
^^ you hear the big biz gurus preaching this type of stuff all the time.
Friends, They want to make it seem like you only have two options if you're going to become an entrepreneur:
OPTION 1: Go all in on your dream (and fk everything else)
OPTION 2: Sell your soul and spend the rest of your life working for the man
Frankly, that's BS
It's a false dichotomy.
Because you CAN take a break from working on your dream to help build someone else's…
And gain invaluable skills + mentorship in the process.
I'd say that working inside someone else's company can accelerate your growth faster than trying to go it on your own.
