This is the number one reason you struggle to lose fat:
You’re winging it.
You don’t track anything, or you follow the wrong things.
Tracking calories burned, for example (it’s not even possible)
You’re not following a specific plan outlining every step and countermeasure.
You walk into the gym and think, “hmm, I feel like doing this maybe,” or “what should I do today.”
Your eating approach is “I’m just eating healthier” or “I’m trying to eat more protein and fewer carbs.”
And you don’t know exactly what your calorie and macronutrient targets, what foods, and how much of those foods you need to eat to hit them.
You don’t measure your food to ensure you’re eating the right amounts.
You’re not tracking your body weight, taking progress photos, and using that data objectively.
Often guys hear me talk about this and think, “you’re just trying to overcomplicate it, bro.”
But in reality, it’s the opposite.
When you have a plan that considers all of the essential variables, it simplifies it immensely.
Instead of doing a bunch of random shit that doesn’t work, you’re doing everything you need to get results. No more, no less.
