What does it mean to have the mindset of a Warrior?

What does it mean to have the mindset of a Warrior? You could be emergency responders who engage in life and death situations. However, when considering how little training first responders receive in the psychological aspects of performing their jobs. Think about your training; how much time does your organization spend on molding mindset? "Being prepared to face any challenge and believing firmly in the cause you are fighting for that you refuse to quit.” In those few words lies an excellent definition for being a warrior.

The keys to having a warrior mindset are believing and preparation. If you are working hard on the wrong things, you will probably expect to achieve little success or no success. If you are doing the same thing repeatedly and you are not achieving success, you are doing something wrong. The things you did at 25 you may not be able to do at 55 years old.

If your mission is to achieve or maintain a positive mind-body connection, your solution would be to maximize your conditioning, maintain many abilities and increase your stress tolerance. Achieving optimum performance has never been about how far you can run or how much weight you can lift; it’s been about operating optimally under extended periods of intense stress. That’s the secret to surviving and winning.
